A Lasu Female Student found dead in her lover's house

A final year student of the Lagos State University, Ojo, Chinyere Ezeala, 27, has
been found dead in her lover’s room at Ejigbo, Lagos, southwest Nigeria after a marathon sex.
The police at Ejigbo alleged that the 400-Level student was found dead on Friday on her lover’s bed at 36, Fayemi Street, Ejigbo,
Lagos. She was found wearing a wrapper.
Her boyfriend, Ifeanyi Sunday, who works at the Apapa wharf allegedly reported her death to the police the following morning
and was arrested.
Police sources at the station confirmed that the corpse had been taken to the Isolo General Hospital for autopsy.
“We cannot for now ascertain the cause of death. Until the autopsy report is out, nobody can say categorically what killed her. We have just arrested her boyfriend

and investigation is going on. We cannot rely on what people are saying about the cause of death. It is only the autopsy report that can disclose the cause of death,” the

investigating police officer told Newsmen when asked to comment on the insinuations that she died during a marathon sex with her boyfriend.
The family of the deceased are, however, insisting that Ifeanyi must marry the deceased according to Igbo tradition and
perform the necessary rites. They claimed that she died while he was having sex with her. They also accused the suspect of
sleeping with her without paying her bride price to the family.
“He should marry her now that she is dead as tradition demands,” a man who identified himself as an uncle to the deceased told the police.

The girls have been in camp for almost two weeks preparing for the pageant proper which is scheduled to take place at the Earls Court Two this Sunday November 6th in London.

Information reaching me now is that there's a 'Whites only' restaurant in the premises of Nigerdock, Apapa, Lagos. The British management of the corporation has dedicated one particular restaurant to their white staff and all blacks dine in all others.

Nigerdock is owned by the people of Nigeria but managed by a British group.

This is wrong, right? I'm putting this out here so the right authorities can go investigate...

KORA Organiser, Ernest Adjovi, Wanted in Nigeria

Since winning the 2010 KORA Award for Best African Reggae Act, Best African Artist, and Best Music Video Director, King Wadada, P-Square and Jude Okoye, have not seen a dime of their prize money. King Wadada was supposed to get $20, 000 (N3m), P-Square $1m (N150, 000, 000) and Jude Okoye $10, 000 (N1.5m), but nothing has been heard from the KORA organizers.

KORA Awards chairman, Ernest Adjovi, has literally disappeared into thin air. Nobody knows where he is...at least nobody in Nigeria, not even his erstwhile media managers, Z-Mirage. So please if you see him anywhere, tell him he's wanted in Nigeria.

Rochas Okorocha Gives Imo School Children N100 Monthly Stipend

So the Governor of Imo State, Rochas Okorocha on November 1 commenced the payment of monthly stipend to all primary and secondary schools students in the state. The allowance is for their 'upkeep'.

The primary school pupils will receive N100, while their secondary school counterparts will get N120.

Primary school monitors will get N120, while prefects in the secondary schools will receive N150.

I don't know whether to commend this or laugh. N100 per month? What do you buy with N100? Kuli Kuli? lol. Why not buy them books, school uniforms, sandals, build libraries and equip the schools with more facilities, etc.. just anything to make the learning environment more conducive for these young people, instead of giving them money that will make no difference in their lives. #Justsaying.

Dorothy Rodham, mother of US Secretary of State, Hillary Rodham Clinton, has passed away at the ripe age of 92. She died today at a Washington hospital after a brief illness. Hilary was at her mother's side when she passed. May her soul RIP.

The Amateur Photographer competition is aimed at giving opportunities for raw talents to express themselves creatively in photography. It's basically a competition for people who are passionate about photography and are looking for the opportunity to get established. The competition is open to everyone. Entries opened Oct 20 and will close January 7, 2012. There are prizes to be won.

The Winners Chapel GO has completed a multi million naira Goshen project, called Goshen City, situated along Kilometre 26, Abuja-Keffi Road, in Abuja. The new Goshen City is a camp like Canaanland, which is situated in Ota, Ogun State.

Goshen City, which sits atop over 560 acres of land, has a primary school (Kingdom Heritage Model School), a secondary school (Faith Academy), a youth centre, a mini housing unit, a 15, 000-seater auditorium, printing press and so many other facilities. I told y'all about the incessant robberies going on lately in the garden city of Port Harcout. The dare devils struck again yesterday morning at about 9.30 am, at Everyday Emporium Supermarket, Rumuola, branch.

Some staff of the supermarket were conveying money from one branch to the other, with police escort, when the gun men, believed to have trailed them, struck.

The vehicle conveying the money was ambushed at Umurelu Street side, behind Rumuola Junction and was sprayed with bullets, killing a staff of the supermarket and a police escort. Two other policemen in a back up escort vehicle had gun shot wounds.

No matter what people may think of you or say about you, I hope when you look in the mirror, you absolutely love the person staring right back at you! Because loving yourself unconditionally, regardless of your failures, is the the greatest gift you can give to you! Besides, loving yourself will help you get anything and everything done in this world.

So, don't worry about what others may think; what you think about yourself is much more important than what others think of you.

Dampte, Cold Juice open MTV EMA Week in Belfast

African born rap artist Dampte last night opened the official MTV EMA week kicking off the events leading up to the MTV EMA award ceremonies on November 6th, 2011 Performing with Dampte was Cold Juice (CJ). Both artists are signed to Bugatti Music Group. The event was held at the Oh Yeah Music Centre in with a live audience.

The 31 year old singer, actress and fashion mogul announced today that she's going to be a mom. Good news. Congrats to her!

After only 72 days of marriage, Kim Kardashsian files for divorce

Kim Kardashian filed for divorce Monday morning, after 72 days of not-so-wedded bliss to Kris Humphries... TMZ has learned. We're told even though the marriage was short, she is not seeking an annulment. It's a garden variety divorce, in which Kim cites "irreconcilable differences."

The date of separation is listed as today, Oct. 31, 2011. According to the docs, Kim wants Kris to foot his own lawyers' fees and she'll pay hers. And, she wants the court to reject any move by Kris to get spousal support.

And, the docs list the length of the marriage as a measly 2 months.

Kim has hired disso-queen Laura Wasser, who has repped the likes of Britney Spears, Maria Shriver, Angelina Jolie, Ryan Reynolds, and Robyn Gibson, Mel's almost ex-wife.

Ryan Seacrest, the producer of her E! reality show, today tweeted:

Errmm...anyone surprised? I just hope she didn't get married and file for divorce so soon just for ratings for her TV show...that would be too...sick!

Ben Murray Bruce screened out of Bayelsa Governorship race

Silverbird chairman, Ben Murray Bruce, was yesterday screened out of the Bayelsa governorship race by the Gubernatorial Screening Appeal Committee of the PDP in Bayelsa State, for possessing dual citizenship.

The committee only cleared three candidates; Youpele Kalango, Christopher Enai and Henry Seriake Dickson as eligible candidates to contest in the upcoming Guber election.

The panel also excluded the name of current governor of the state, Timipre Sylva, for allegedly operating foreign accounts.

So if you are a Nigerian and American citizen, you are not qualified to govern a state in Nigeria? Hmmmm...
